How it works

Three steps between you and the story.

  1. 01

    Buy one ticket per team

Checkout takes two minutes. One ticket covers your whole team of 2–5 — everyone plays along on their own phone.

  2. 02

    Walk to the starting point

The trail begins in the heart of Mitte. Right after checkout you’ll get the exact meeting spot by email — plus chapter one of the story.

  3. 03

    Solve, walk, repeat

Read the story, crack the riddle, walk on. Every correct answer unlocks the next stop — and pulls you deeper into the secret.

The story

A story you don’t read. One you walk through.

Mitte, autumn 1936

The watchmaker Elias Brandt vanishes without a trace from his workshop in the courtyards off Rosenthaler Straße. He leaves behind an unfinished pocket watch, a locked drawer — and a single note: “For whoever keeps looking.”

Ninety years later, a letter arrives at your address. It’s addressed to you. And it’s written in his hand.

Your trail begins where Berlin’s time began. Eight stops. Eight riddles. One secret that has waited ninety years for someone to keep looking.

“For whoever keeps looking.”

Chapter 3 · The Clockmaker’s Hand

Riddle 3 of 83 / 8

The letter leads you through an archway into the first courtyard. Elias’s note is short: “Time doesn’t run here. It stands — high above the street, for everyone to read.”

Riddle 3

I have hands, but no arms. I have a face, but no eyes. The whole of Mitte reads me every day. What are they reading?
